CHARTER COMPANY WANTED
Immediate departure. Short roster. Rare gifts preferred.
The University of Arcana has confirmed a working Mana Engine in the Realm of the Fallen God — not among the usual surface wreckage, but beneath Genosia, where no prior sounding has reached.
The reading is new. The location is fixed. The secret will not hold.
Every capital that keeps a navy, a temple archive, or a salvage ledger will hear of this within the month. Some have already heard. The University therefore intends to be on the water before courtesy, committee, or competing charter can catch up.
We are assembling a small recovery company for a documented descent:
- ten days across the God’s Teeth
- landing on Genosia
- location and assessment of the buried Engine
- extraction of what can be extracted
- return by whatever surviving means the site still possesses
This is not a survey of ruins. It is a race to a machine that still lives.
Who should answer. We are not recruiting another seasoned company. The last experienced team did not come home intact. We are recruiting quickly, from those already near Philly and the University — students, lecturers, sailors, sellswords, medics, translators, and anyone whose ancestral gift has already shown itself.
If your bloodline has done something uncommon — something the village still talks about — that is the qualification. Skill without that spark will not be refused. Spark without polish will not be refused either. We cannot wait for both.
A Reflectorium observer will travel with the company. They have entered the Realm before. They know the ground. They also know what it costs.
Pay is University charter rate, plus a documented share of any recovered Aetheric material not claimed as institutional property. Berths, rations, and a legal warrant to enter Genosia will be provided. Questions of ownership, publication, and “who should have found this first” will be argued after the Engine is in hand. Not before.
