# The Engine Run

The [University of Arcana](400_Characters/Factions_Groups/University%20of%20Arcana.md) has sent the company from [Philly](300_Locations/Philly.md) to [Locos](300_Locations/Locos.md) to secure a surviving [mana engine](../../../../800_Rules_Reference_Homebrew/Aetherics/Mana%20Engine.md). [Ashin Toa](400_Characters/NPCs/Ashin%20Toa.md) is the guide; [Brandy’s Folly](300_Locations/Brandy%E2%80%99s%20Folly.md) carried them across the [Gods’ Teeth](300_Locations/The%20Gods%E2%80%99%20Teeth.md).

**Current position:** the beach at Locos, where the first giant crab has just emerged.
