# Captain Travin Saltmere

The heavyset older human captain of [Brandy’s Folly](../../300_Locations/Brandy%E2%80%99s%20Folly.md), dressed in pirate’s finery. He introduced himself at the manor as **Captain Jacob Travin Saltmere** and made it clear that he answers to **Captain Travin**.

He greeted the company with “You’re late,” carried them to [Genosia](../../../../Setting/World/Genosia/Genosia.md), and ordered everyone without a station below during the [Gods’ Teeth](../../300_Locations/The%20Gods%E2%80%99%20Teeth.md) crossing. His ship’s use of an enormous turtle was witnessed by Ashin and [Jorden](../Player%20Characters/Jorden_DKnoth_Character_Sheet.md).

The source notes also call him Tavin Saltmere. This is the same captain.
