# The Gods’ Teeth

The upheaved shelf surrounding [Genosia](../../../Setting/World/Genosia/Genosia.md), traditionally associated with the catastrophe 311 years ago. Crossing it is a major obstacle for expeditions.

Ashin and [Jorden](../400_Characters/Player%20Characters/Jorden_DKnoth_Character_Sheet.md) have now seen [Brandy’s Folly](Brandy%E2%80%99s%20Folly.md) pass over it on the back of an enormous turtle propelled by columns of water. That observation does not establish how other ships make the passage.
