# Philly

The party’s city in the [Kinlands](../../../Setting/World/Regions/The%20Kinlands.md) and home to the [University of Arcana](../400_Characters/Factions_Groups/University%20of%20Arcana.md). The Gift provides food, simple clothing, shelter, and basic care. People perform ordinary work for the Collective; specialized tools and adventuring supplies still cost gold.

Before the expedition, [Jorden](../400_Characters/Player%20Characters/Jorden_DKnoth_Character_Sheet.md) assisted a sailmaker, [Sasa](../400_Characters/Player%20Characters/Sasa_Waykeeper_Character_Sheet.md) worked wharf security, and [Tarik](../400_Characters/Player%20Characters/Tarik_Character_Sheet.md) worked as a stevedore.
